Post breakfast proceed for full day tour of the city. The sightseeing will include a visit to Victoria Memorial, the city's "Dream in Marble." The memorial houses within its spacious galleries some of the memorabilia of the Raj and some of the personal effects of Queen Victoria. Later in the day  visit the race course, the cricket fields of Eden Garden, the Jain Temple and the new market, where you can purchase anything from a needle to an exotic animal. You will also visit the world headquarters of the Missionaries of Charity, an organization that was established by Mother Teresa to help and comfort the most wretched people of the world. You are welcome to stay and participate in the daily activities if you so desire. Spend this evening at leisure and overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, proceed to the airport for the flight to Guwahati, here you would be met on arrival and directly driven to Tezpur (200 kms/125 miles). It's an approximately 5 hours drive depending on the traffic. The area is criss-crossed by the river Jia- Bhoroli and its tributaries. The in-accessibility and continuity with neibouring forest areas has helped the wildlife of Nameri to flourish. Check In at the Eco Camp and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the jungle by relaxing at the hotel itself or you could take a walk to the river front. Dinner is served at the hotel 2200 hrs 

Post breakfast drive to the frontier of Arunachal Pradesh and proceed to Ziro (310kms/194 miles) - the district headquarters of Lower Subansiri and the home of Apatani Tribes. Check In at the Hotel Blue Pine and relax after the extensive travel; end the day with dinner at the hotel.

After breakfast proceed to visit Hong, which is one of the largest tribal village in South East Asia along with other Apatani villages. The Apatani are concentrated in about 20 villages on the Plateau's periphery. The tribe is divided into clans and sub-clans but the clans are not geographically separated, each clan lives in a clearly defined part of a village. Some of the villages have seven or more clans. They speak a dialect distinct from those of the State's other ethnic communities but have no script of their own which they believe they lost it during their migration to their present habitat. Instead of idols, they worship Sun ("Donyi") and Moon ("Polo") as also a number of other deities. One of them called Hilo is believed to be the creator of Abotani, the first ancestor of the Apatani. They celebrate many festivals but the Dree and the Myoko are closely associated with agriculture. Murung festival is celebrated for general peace and prosperity of the community. The Apatani are known for their dexterity in using every inch of cultivable space. They depend on agriculture, primarily paddy cultivation. In the evening enjoy an ethnic cultural program. Return back to the hotel for diner and the overnight stay.

Breakfast at the hotel and then proceed to Daporiyo (184kms / 115 miles) enroute visiting Nishi and Tagin tribal areas. The Nyishi tribe is one of the principal inhabitants of the North-Eastern State of India, Arunachal Pradesh. The connotation 'Nyi' refers to 'a man' and the word 'Shi' denotes to 'a being', which collectively means a civilized human being. Tagin refers to a tribe of Arunachal Pradesh, which is a member of the larger designation of Tani Tribes which has certain belief systems primarily, their belief in Abotani as their primeval ancestor. Stay overnight in Government Circuit House on the south bank of river Subansiri.

Once again leave post breakfast to Along (160kms/100 miles), which is almost on the border with China, it is the head quarter of West Siang District and the home of Adi tribes. Enroute visit Hill Miri and Adi Gallong  tribal villages. The Galo also called Gallong or Gallon are a central Eastern Himalayan tribe, who speak a language of the tani group and are descendant of Abo Tani. The Hill Miri (Nyishis) have a tiny population, because of which they were officially consolidated with their more populous and closest ethnic neighbors, the Nyishi in 1998. They speak the Hill-Miri language, or Sarak-miri, a Tibeto-Burman language of India. After reaching Along check in at the Circuit House for an overnight stay.

Post breakfast drive alongside the river Siyom, enroute seeing the confluence of Siang and Siyom River and visit Adi Minyong tribal village. The Adi or Bokar Lhoba people is one of major Tani tribe living in the Himalayan hills of Arunachal Pradesh, some of them are also found in Southern Tibet. The literal meaning of Adi is "hill" or "mountain top". Drive on to Pasighat (140kms/88 miles) which is the oldest town of Arunachal Pradesh. Upon arrival check in at Pasighat circuit house, later in the evening explore the local market. Return back for dinner and stay at the circuit house.

After breakfast, we drive to the riverfront and take a daylong boat cruise on the river Brahamputra to Dibrugarh. It is very rare to find a reference to this river without the word “mighty’ attached to it. This is a river of sorrow and munificence, every year hundreds of people are taken by the swift flow of flood as the river swells with monsoon rain and thousands more are nourished by the rich silt deposits left in its wake. If a river is the highway of life, cultures and commerce - then the Brahmaputra is beyond par in this respect.  On arrival to Dibrugarh check in for two nights at Heritage Chang Bungalow, it is a beautiful property in the midst of a tea garden. End this adventurous day with dinner at the hotel

This morning post breakfast we take a day trip to an ethnic village of Tai-phake community (56kms/35 miles) - the kith and kin of Ahoms who ruled Assam for 600 years. Tai Phake, also known as Phakial or simply Phake belong to the Tai-speaking tribal group living in Dibrugarh district and Tinsukia district of Assam.  As of 1990, their population stood at 5,000, which consists of less than 250 families. Princess Sirindhorn of Thailand visited one of their villages, and was able to communicate with very good mutual intelligibility despite centuries of distance.Lunch will be organized with the villagers. In the evening enjoy the traditional dance performances. Return to the Tea Bungalow in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Post breakfast we drive on to Mokokchung (248kms/155 miles) in the state of Nagaland. Enroute we will visit Aliba village to see the world's largest Log Drum and interface with Ao Naga tribes. This particular titanic of a log-drum or Süngkong, as the Ao Nagas call it of Aliba village lay colossal at 36 feet in length and 6.8 feet in diameter, implying some 21.37 feet in circumference or girth. It took the villagers 39 days to uproot the tree (Michelia Champaca) and carve it out into the desired figure and another 36 days to drag it from the forest all the way to the village, covering a distance of 3.33 kilometers manually. Check in at the Guest house on arrival, later enjoy the dinner and rest overnight.

Today after breakfast we proceed to the Angami Naga Tribal belt (120kms/75 miles). The Angamis are one of the major Naga tribes of Nagaland. They are known for the Sekrenyi celebrations that take place every February. Tonight stay in Angami traditional cottage in Tuophema village, enjoy a traditional dance in the evening followed by dinner.

Post breakfast drive to Kohima (40kms/25 miles) - the state capital. It is the land of the Angami Naga tribe, the name, Kohima, was officially given by the British as they could not pronounce the Angami name Kewhima or Kewhira which means  "the land where the flower Kewhi grows". It is called after the wild flowering plant Kewhi, found in the mountains. Check in at Hotel Japfu and proceed for a visit to the museum . Later in the afternoon visit the museum (Closed on Sundays and National holidays) which presents the display of diverse tribal habitats and cultures of Nagaland. It is known for the preservation of some of the antique creations which belong to the tribes inhabiting the region. Visit the 2nd World War Cemetery to pay respect to the war hero’s of the 2nd world war. Return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast explore the local market and emporium at Kohima. Later in the afternoon visit the Kisema tourist village. Get back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast start you journey by moving to Dimapur by road. Take a connecting flight to Kolkata, where you will be met on arrival and escorted till your check in at the airport hotel.

Take the flight back home from Kolkata. Heritage Chang Bungalow, it is a beautiful property in the midst of a tea garden. End this adventurous day with dinner at the hotel
