In the morning arrive in Srinagar and you will be met and transferred with assistance to a Deluxe Houseboat/Hotel.
In the evening you will be free to enjoy the scenic view of mountain ranges around Dal Lake. Dinner and overnight stay at a Deluxe houseboat/Hotel.
After breakfast enjoy a boat ride also known as “Shikara” to explore the Dal Lake, waterways, back waters, canals, floating gardens & vegetable gardens which have beautiful water lilies & lotus flowers. There are easily accessible mobile vendors, floating handicraft centre and experience the inherited lifestyle of people living alongside the lake since decades. Return back to the Deluxe Houseboat/ Hotel for lunch.
In the evening visit the famous Mughal Gardens, Cheshma Shahi(Royal Spring), Nishat(Garden of Pleasure), Shalimar(Abode of Love) which the Mughals laid out in the 16th century and these fall along the banks of Dal Lake in the heart of Srinagar city and Shankaracharya Temple located on a hillock , thus providing panoramic view of the entire city along with the famous Dal Lake and River Jhelum. Enroute visit the Handloom Centre which is famous for producing Pashmina, Shahtoosh shawlas and world over reckoned carpets. Return to the Deluxe Houseboat/Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Leave after breakfast for full day excursion to Sonamarg which is also known as “The Meadow of Gold” and lies to the north east of Srinagar at a distance of 87 kms and at an altitude of 3,000 mts, above sea level. The place offers incredible Scenic beauty (while driving to Sonamarg) dense pine forests and gigantic mountains. The place itself is a popular resort for mountaineers and rock climbing, besides being an important halt on way to Kargil (Ladakh) it also provides the ideal base for various trekking routes, high mountains, lakes, glaciers and Shri Amarnath ji holy cave. In the evening return back to the delux Houseboat/Hotel for Dinner & overnight stay.
After breakfast, leave for a full day excursion to Gulmarg which is also known as “The Meadow of Flowers” which is 56kms.west to Srinagar and is at an altitude of 2,730 meters above the sea level. There are snow capped mountains all around and one can have a view of Nanga Parbat on a clear sunny day. It has a premier winter Ski Resort for Skiers with one of the world’s highest 18 hole golf course. For joy seekers there are cable cars available upto Alpather via Khilanmarg by Asia’s long run cable car ride which is approximately 5 kms. In the evening return back to the Deluxe Houseboat/Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Leave after breakfast for Tour of Srinagar city (old/New city) & proceed to Srinagar airport to board the scheduled flight for onward destination.
